Finished the Lego table. My son should have many year of building with this thing. I made the legs out of 8/4 alder, the base rails out of 4/4 beech, the top out of 3/4 birch ply framed with beech. The finish I used was SHER-WOOD Hi Bild Pre-Cat Lacquer. This stuff works really well! After I let it dry I used some finishing wax and buffed it on by hand. This was a fun project and will be in our home for many years to come.
